My creative approach centers on using my studio as a playroom, where intuition drives my process. I embrace a feedback loop where one idea leads to the next, often revisiting and reintroducing past explorations. I use photographic material as a starting point for my abstract works, drawing inspiration from my camera roll and fashion magazines for colors, textures, and compositions. Materials, often sourced from thrift stores, are integral to my process, offering an opportunity to give new life to discarded objects. In my work, I blend techniques of collage, construction, and digital manipulation. Through a cycle of printing, cutting, painting, rescanning, and editing, I create a transformation where both analog and digital marks coexist, with neither privileged over the other. This interplay between two- and three-dimensional forms creates artificial depth, blurring the line between my hand and the digital tools I use. The vibrant colors and holographic materials in my pieces reflect a playful engagement with the early 2000s pop culture. My work is an ongoing experiment in repetition, distortion, and intuition, where each mark is a record of time, emotion, and decision—capturing the vulnerability and authenticity of the creative process.
