ART STUDIOS

Shanzuo Zhoushi and Dahuang Zhoushi, renowned Chinese painters born in Guangxi, China, and now based in Chicago, have achieved international acclaim for their abstract art. Their philosophy, known as "Feelingism," emphasizes the symbiosis of eastern and western influences, encouraging self-belief and following one's heart in the creative process. Over their 50-year artistic career, the Zhou Brothers have left an indelible mark on contemporary art, embodying the essence of their philosophy and contributing to the American dream.

With the Zhou Brother's work relying heavily on intuition, one could say their own philosophies of "Feelingism" rang true for the creation of the Zhou B Art Center. During a visit to Kansas City, the Zhou Brothers passed by the. Crispus Attucks School and asked about the building's status. Luckily, the building's previous plans had fallen through and the brother's curiosity and intuition ion led them to finding the center's second home in Kansas City.
